The dormitory Margaretha-Rothe-Haus consists of four Houses (A,B,C,D) and is located near the Stadtpark. You can reach the next subway Station Borgweg by foot in 3 minutes and the University of Hamburg in around 10 minutes by train.
There are 470 single rooms, 451 of which have a size of 11m². 19 rooms have a size of 20m². Tenants can apply for these larger rooms. All rooms include furniture and are equiped with a sink. All rooms have a (cable-) internet, telephone und cable-tv connection.
The floor-communities share fully equiped kitchens and bathrooms. There are parking lots for cars and (motor) bikes. In the large bar you can play Pool or Kicker and enjoy the frequent parties and other events. All tenants have access to a sports hall, a gym, a table tennis hall (temporarily closed), a bicycle workshop, a fotolaboratory (closed temporarily), a small cinema (closed temporarily) and four music rooms, two of which are equiped with a piano. Moreover you can rent canoes and go canoeing on the nearby lakes and rivers.
